About this tool
Each month gets its own receipt with a receipt number, a date, the rent in figures and in words, the payment method, and a signature line for the landlord. Three receipts fit on one page. If you claim House Rent Allowance, employers usually ask for the landlord's PAN when the rent paid in a year is more than ₹1 lakh, so add it if that applies. Your employer or tax professional can tell you exactly what they need. Use this tool only for rent that was actually paid, and have the landlord sign the receipts.

Rent receipts are a common proof for HRA, but each employer has its own rules. Ask your employer what they need, such as the landlord's PAN or a rent agreement.
Do I need the landlord's PAN?
Employers usually ask for the landlord's PAN if the yearly rent is more than ₹1 lakh. Add it in the PAN box if it applies to you.
Can I make receipts for the whole year?
Yes. Choose the first month and the number of months (up to 12), and all receipts are created at once.
Does it add a revenue stamp?
Each receipt has a small empty box where a revenue stamp can be stuck if your landlord wants one. Whether a stamp is needed can depend on the amount and your situation, so ask your employer or a tax professional.
How do I save it as a PDF?
Click Print / Save as PDF, then choose Save as PDF as the printer in the window that opens.
