About this tool
This tool builds standard QR codes (the same Model 2 codes every phone camera reads) directly in your browser. Higher error correction lets a code still scan when part of it is dirty or covered, but makes the code denser. For printing, use the SVG file, keep the quiet border, and make sure the code colour is clearly darker than the background. A QR code made here never expires and has no scan limit, because it simply contains your text and does not go through any redirect service.
Frequently asked questions
Is this QR code generator free?
Yes. It is free, needs no signup, and adds no watermark. The codes never expire.
Do the QR codes expire or track scans?
No. The code contains your text or link directly. There is no redirect and no tracking, so it keeps working as long as the link itself works.
How do I make a UPI payment QR code?
Choose UPI payment, enter your UPI ID (like name@bank), and optionally a name, amount and note. Scanning it opens a payment app with those details filled in. Always scan and check it yourself before sharing.
How do I make a WhatsApp QR code?
Choose WhatsApp chat, enter the number with country code and no plus sign (for India, 91 followed by the 10-digit number), and an optional first message. Scanning it opens a chat with that number.
Which error correction level should I choose?
Medium is fine for most uses. Choose High if the code will be printed on something that can get scratched or dirty. Choose Low for the simplest code when it will only be shown on a screen.
PNG or SVG, which one should I download?
Use PNG for websites, WhatsApp and social media. Use SVG for printing on banners, visiting cards or packaging, because it stays sharp at any size.
Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No. The QR code is generated in your browser and nothing you type is sent to a server.
