About this tool
In the Indian system, numbers are grouped as thousand, lakh and crore, so 1,00,000 is One Lakh and 1,00,00,000 is One Crore. In the international system the same numbers are One Hundred Thousand and Ten Million. For rupee amounts the tool writes the paise after the decimal point, for example 1,234.50 becomes Rupees One Thousand Two Hundred Thirty Four and Fifty Paise Only. It supports up to 15 digits. Please check the words yourself before using them on a cheque or legal document.
